It would be great to have an option to mark email as read when deleting or archiving an email

To add to this, I find myself wanting a similar function for starred and reply later tags when deleting an email. It would be great to have an option that removes those tags when deleting an email.
The way I think about it, and use trash, is that I’m completely “done” with an email and see no value in keeping it around to archive, which is essentially just a catch all folder or tag. Archiving for me is actually simply moving it to an organized folder.
